A little bit about me

I’m Barine, a general psychologist and the face behind Clear Minded Psychology. Since 2021, I’ve supported children, teens, and adults through life’s challenges, using evidence-based therapies like CBT, ACT, and solution-focused approaches. My sessions are practical and personal, always shaped around what matters to you.

My background as a firstborn Australian from migrant parents has given me a strong focus on inclusion, culture, and understanding. I believe therapy should feel safe and supportive, with a real emphasis on building strengths, not just tackling problems.

With over 5,000 hours of client experience and a commitment to ongoing learning, I’m here to listen, help you feel heard, and work together on finding what works for your life.

Our approach to practical, person-centred care

At Clear Minded Psychology, our focus is on making support feel approachable, helpful, and truly personal. We know that mental health isn’t separate from the rest of your life - challenges at work, school, or home can all affect how you feel day to day. We use evidence-based therapies, always shaped to fit your needs, strengths and goals:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Solution-focused therapy
  • Skill building
  • Narrative therapy
  • Strength-based therapy
  • Compassion focused therapy
  • Person-centred therapy
  • Motivational interviewing

Therapy here means working together, at your pace. We believe everyone deserves to feel heard, respected, and included. Whether you’re a child, teen, adult, or parent. Sessions are shaped to who you are, what matters to you, and the practical realities of your life.

We’re committed to making therapy accessible, welcoming, and free from judgement. Our doors are open to people of all backgrounds, cultures, and identities. If you need support outside of business hours or prefer telehealth, we’ll do our best to make things work for you.

Therapy isn’t just about talking through problems, it’s about finding ways to move forward, build confidence, and handle whatever life throws your way.
